Prego Dalliance Sanctuary is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated in providing a loving, safe, and home for rescued Parrots. Providing nurturing environment and medical care.


Prego Dalliance Sanctuary started with the lost of our first Eclectus parrot, Prego. Living with him brought us closer to nature, other animals and gave us a direction in life on how to continue our dalliance. As our family grew, it was clear we had found our sanctuary.

The Lily Sanctuary was founded by Venette and Dan Hill in 1989 and became a registered non-profit 501 c(3) in 2004. At the Lily Sanctuary, we do not buy, sell or breed birds and we exist solely on the donations of generous individuals and groups. Our mission is to provide loving sanctuary for homeless, unwanted and special needs parrots in an in-home environment, ensuring quality care during residence, ehabilitation and rehoming. We are home to over 30 medium to large parrots including Macaws, Cockatoos, African Greys and Amazons. All birds have inside cages and outside aviaries that are outfitted with toys and perches.
