It's a fun concept and an neat way to hold things and I have no concerns about her getting caught in it.
My grey chewed the bottom corner off and the entire piece disintegrated into ~2-3" strands of the material
Might work ok for really small birds to sit on, or any that don't don't really chewuch to pull treats through, but it does Not work the way other woven pieces I've encountered where they can chew it bit by bit.
