How to Enable Cookies

How to Enable Cookies

To enable cookies, follow the instructions below for the browser version you are using.

Microsoft Internet Explorer 9.0 and 10.0

  • Click on the gear icon (Tools)
  • Select "Internet Options" from the Tools menu.
  • Click on the "Privacy" tab.
  • Manually slide the bar up and down as desired under "Settings".
  • Click on Advanced and make sure you accept first party cookies.
  • Click "Ok"

Microsoft Internet Explorer 7.0 and 8.0

  • Select "Internet Options" from the Tools menu.
  • Click on the "Privacy" tab.
  • Click the "Default" button (or manually slide the bar down to "Medium") under "Settings".
  • Click "OK".
Mozilla Firefox (4 and newer)
  • Click on Firefox to expand the menu.
  • Select "Options".
  • Select the "Privacy" icon.
  • Under History, "Firefox will" drop down select: Use custom settings for history
  • Check the box corresponding to "Allow sites to set cookies" or "Accept cookies from sites".
  • Click "OK" to save changes.

Google Chrome (17 and newer)

  • Click on settings under the wrench icon.
  • On your left, you will find "Under the hood"
  • Click on Content Settings across from Privacy.
  • Make sure you are accepting cookies.

Safari (5.1 and later)

  • In Safari, from the Safari menu, select Preferences.
  • In the Safari preferences window, click Privacy.
  • Next to "Block cookies:" select From this parties and advertisers, Always, or Never.
  • If you have any cookies or other web site data stored, click Details. When you are finished, click Done to return to the preferences window.

Opera (10.0 and later)

  • Click on Tools, select Preferences.
  • Select the Advanced tab, on the left menu click on Cookies.
  • Make sure you are accepting cookies.
  • Click "Ok" when you are done.

Mobile Safari

  • Go to the Home screen and select the Settings icon.
  • Select Safari from the Settings menu.
  • Click on Accept Cookies and make sure the from visited or always is selected.
