Shallow Ridge Exotics
SKU: R-60
Shallow Ridge Exotics provides rescue, rehabilitation, appropriate placement, and long-term sanctuary care for both birds and Sulcata tortoises. Within our avian program, some birds may eventually be placed in carefully selected homes, while others remain with us as permanent sanctuary residents when long-term care and stability are what is best for them.
Food, toys, perches, enrichment, safe housing, and other everyday supplies are such an important part of caring for the birds who come to us. As our rescue continues to grow, we are always looking for meaningful ways for people who want to help to be able to directly support the animals in our care.

The bird food is our greatest and most ongoing need, simply because it is something we go through every single day. We are truly grateful for any food or supplies that are sent our way, and every bit of support helps us continue caring for the birds who depend on us.
We also greatly appreciate **bird toys and enrichment items of all sizes**. We care for feathered babies ranging from our smallest birds to our larger parrots, so small, medium, and large toys can all be put to good use
Our volunteers also spend one-on-one time with the birds and help give them extra enrichment and socialization. Some of our birds are safely taken outside on harnesses for fresh air, sunshine, and individual attention. The harnesses, perches, toys, play stands, and other enrichment items on our list help us provide those special moments and give the birds opportunities to stay active, curious, comfortable, and engaged.
