Lovely Feathers Avian Rescue provides
education, rehabilitation, and a loving environment for exotic birds in need. We
strive to provide a flighted environment with stimulating activities for all the
birds in our care. Helping companion parrots to overcome their social and
physical handicaps through flock therapy has been very successful in our rescue.
Providing a loving, social, and enriched environment, aids in building mutual
trust and “bird” esteem, imperative to the continued emotional health and
welfare of these intelligent and magnificent birds in need. This is achieved
through separating the species for safety, and we avoid over crowding through a
network of committed foster homes, with the same ideals and goals. Our waiting
list is growing, We pride in our success rate of rehabilitating and socializing
companion birds of all species. Finding the perfect and loving homes for the
birds in our rescue is our goal, and hope to continue this work without having
to charge a re-home fee whenever possible.
